Limited Use Policy

Open Calendar Slots’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Open Calendar Slots only reads Google Calendar event start and end times for the purpose of computing free time slots for the signed-in user. Event data is never stored, transmitted to any third party, or used for any purpose other than displaying the user’s free time in the extension popup.

Google Calendar Data

When You sign in with Google and grant the calendar.readonly scope, the extension reads the start and end times of events on the calendars You explicitly select. This data is used only on Your device, only at the moment You click “Find Free Time”, and only to compute which time slots are free. Event titles, descriptions, attendees, and locations are not read, stored, or transmitted. No event data is sent to any server operated by the Company.

Usage Data

The Service does not collect Usage Data. The extension does not include analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including computing the user’s free time slots for display in the extension popup.

  • To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

Law enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). Because the Company does not store user calendar data on any server, no such data exists for the Company to disclose.

The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation
  • Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company
  • Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
  • Protect the personal safety of Users of the Service or the public

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security. Because the extension stores no user data off-device, the primary security boundary for Your data is the security of Your own browser and Google account.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent’s consent before We collect and use that information.
